Two Categories

Your position in life is only relative not absolute.

When you are in problem, don't think it's the END, it is only a BEND.

In life there are two categories of people that are happy; the MAD and the CHILD... Be mad to achieve a goal. Be a child to enjoy what you've achieve.

Remember, there is no escalator to success only STEPS.

Tips on Attracting Positive Energy

How are you?

I'd love to share with you 5 tips on attracting positive energy in your life today.

We are all magnets. We attract. We attract the things we want or do not want. Whatever we focus on, will grow.

That's why setting our energy right is extremely important. If we focus on the positive, we will attract the positive. If we focus on the negative, we will also attract the negative.

So what are the ways some of the way to attract positive energy?

Positive Energy #1: Let Go of Your Past

Do you have a past that you are not proud of? It could be an addiction, failure or disappointment. Whatever it was, you need to let it go because you can't move on unless you let go of your old and heavy baggage.

You may have done something wrong in the past but I would really love you to release the guilt because it is not helping you to attract the kind of future you want. Likewise, someone may have hurt you in the past. Let it go because that person is probably living a happier life than you are.

Why torture yourself? Let it go!

Positive Energy #2: Stop Beating Yourself Up

"I am not good enough..", "I am never amount to anything..". Get rid of those thoughts because if you believe that you are not good enough, guess what - you are!

Instead, give yourself positive affirmations by saying, "I attract abundance!", "I am healthy!", "I attract healthy relationships in life" and guess what - you really do!

Like Henry Ford once said, "Whether you think you can or think you can't, you are right!".

Positive Energy #3: See the Good in Others

It is so easy to pin point the fault of others and yet we failed to see the weaknesses of ourselves. If you want to attract positive energy, you must learn to see the good in others instead of their bad.

You can do a little test by giving more compliments than criticism and I can assure you, you will see more positive results than ever.

Positive Energy #4: Use the Power of Reframing Your Mind

When bad things happen to you, what do you do? Do you blame the people, weather, the dog, the government and your emotions?

It is not so much of what happen to us that determines our outcome. It is really about how we react to what happens to us that determines the outcome.

Are you nervous when you are about to give a sales presentation? Good, because your nervousness is telling you a message that you need to prepare even more! Does your medical report show that you have high cholesterol? Then good, it means it is sending you a message that you need to start running or doing workout.

By reframing your mind, you will be more positive instead of worries and hence, you generate positive energy that will attract positive outcome in your life!

Positive Energy #5: Wake Up Early!

Remember those days you could party all night and wake up in the afternoon? Yes please keep on doing this IF YOU WANT TO FAIL!

If you want to be a better person, waking up early in the morning is a must. You are able to start your day well prepared and you will be surprised with how productive you can be and how much you can accomplish.

Morning risers are the ones who change the world. Not the late risers.

Make YOU a Priority...

It is important that you make time for yourself--you can't help others if you don't help yourself first. What's needed is radical self-care:

Be deliberate in your choices. We can't be all things to all people. Sort out what's really important to you and exercise your right to say no. Saying no is saying yes to yourself.

Alone Time. Set aside at least ten minutes daily to reflect; make it part of your routine. Your priorities are always changing. If you don't take stock of what you need and want, you'll be operating from what worked in the past.

Brag to You, About You. Do you get stuck on what you didn't do rather than what you've actually accomplished? Give yourself the credit you deserve; you do a lot.

Be Inspired.

Gratitude

Gratitude means
thankfulness, counting your blessings, noticing simple pleasures, and acknowledging everything that you receive. It means learning to live your life as if everything were a miracle, and being aware on a continuous basis of how much you’ve been given.
Gratitude shifts your focus from what your life lacks to the abundance that is already present. In addition, behavioral and psychological research has shown the surprising life improvements that can stem from the practice of gratitude. Giving thanks makes people happier and more resilient, it strengthens relationships, it improves health, and it reduces stress.

I Like to take this chance to show my Gratitude for reading my lines.

Its Your Responsibility to be Healthy!

Life is beautiful. There are many things to experience throughout this journey. Each step forward in life is worth celebrating: your birth, first step, graduation, first job, marriage, birth of your kids etc.

Yet at the same time, as we continue with our life journey, our responsibilities increase. Work takes up majority of our time and we neglect the most important thing that we should be taking care of.

Ourselves.

Ourselves.

In particular, our health. We can have it all in this life but without health, everything counts for nothing. There are so many things that others can do for you, but no one can help you take care of your health. When things go awry with your health, your friends could only stand by. Your employers and colleagues would potentially leave you. Your loved ones would be the most impacted.

Good news is that it doesn’t take a lot to take care of your health. To pare everything down, it all boils down to two things:

Diet

Eating right got a lot of to do with your state of health. It not only helps you lose that excess pounds but good nutrients help also with your state of mind. There are many clean dieting options available today, even if you are a busy individual, there are meal catering alternatives that can take the place of cooking at home.

Exercise

Exercise could be simple, it could be just parking your car a little further off from the entrance of the mall and walking the rest of the journey. If you have a dog, bringing it out for walks could be both therapeutic as well beneficial to bring oxygenated blood pumping throughout your body and if otherwise you can do it all by yourself. I find that yoga works well too.

Choose today to do what no one can do for you. Take care of your health.

Staying True To Yourself Always

 Hello Gorgeous,

I want to share with you this story I reflected on recently. Am sure you are  familiar with the story or heard about it in form of song from the renowned musician Ebenezer Obey:

An old couple had a donkey. It was their only means of transport to and fro.
One day they were riding together on the donkey, some villagers saw them and commented:
"Two people on a donkey's back? Poor animal!"

The couple were affected. On their next outdoors trip, the old man sat on the donkey while his spouse walked.
The villagers saw this and said: "He's letting his wife walk? How cruel!"

The old man was shocked. On their way back home, he asked his spouse to sit on the donkey while he walked. The villagers saw it and said: "Letting the wife ride the donkey? How stupid!"

The old man was at his wits' end. At the next outing, both him and his spouse walked while taking the donkey along. This time, the villagers exclaimed: "What idiots! They don't even know how to utilise the donkey!"

Have you ever had similar experiences as the old couple?
The feeling like nothing that you've done is right.

Well, I want to let you know that people will always have something to say about what they see.
Everyone has their own perspective on what to do, when to do, how to do things. But they are not YOU.
They may not know you well, they may not know your intents, neither will they really care.

What is most important is you stay true to yourself.
Do what you have to do and don't feel guilty or sad because of what others say about you and of you.
You are not your past, neither will your present define your future.

Everything great in your future comes from a little shift in your perspective.
Love and forgive yourself and stay true. Fight on!

Your Race is You...

Dear Gorgeous,

I wanted to share with you this story I came across today.
It set me thinking about what we are truly running after in our lives.
Hope you get some great revelations out of it like I did.

***
I was jogging this morning and I noticed a person about 1/2 a kilometre ahead. I could tell he was running a little slower than me and I thought, good, I shall try to catch him. I had about a kilometre before I needed to turn off. So I started running faster and faster.

Every block, I was gaining on him just a little bit. After just a few minutes I was only about 100 metres behind him, so I really picked up the pace and pushed myself. You would have thought I was
running in the last leg of an Olympic competition. I was determined to catch him.

Finally, I did it! I caught and passed him. On the inside, I felt so good. "I beat him" Of course, he didn't even know we were racing. After I passed him, I realized I had been so focused on competing
against him that I had missed my turn. I had gone nearly six blocks past my turn and I had to turn and go back.

Isn't that what happens in life when we focus on competing with co-workers, neighbours, friends, family, trying to outdo them or trying to prove that we are more successful or more important?
We spend our time and energy running after them and we miss out on our own paths to our given destinies. The problem with unhealthy competition is that it's a never ending cycle.

There will always be somebody ahead of you, someone with a better job, nicer car, more money in the bank, more education, a prettier wife, a more handsome husband, better behaved children, etc. But realize that "You can be the best that you can be, when you are not competing with anyone."

Some people are insecure because they pay too much attention to what others are, where others are going, wearing and driving. Take whatever you have, the height, weight and personality. Dress well and wear it proudly, you'll be blessed by it.
Stay focused and live a healthy life. There is no competition in Destiny.

Run your own race and wish others well.
