Few Traits of a Good Man...

Ever wonder what the traits of a good man are? If you are in the dating scene, I am sure you have? We all have wanted to know the type of things to look for in a good man.
Thus, a good man has a desire to protect and provide for his woman. Even if he may currently not have the financial ability to provide for a woman he still has a deep desire to. If he doesn’t want to see his mother working diligently chances are he does not want to see his woman work diligently either.
Take a peek at these 5 traits of a good man and keep them in mind during your next date...
  1. SELFLESS – A good man is not a selfish man. He puts his woman first and is always sure to address any issues or concerns that she may have. A good man desires to do things that make his woman happy. The opinions of his lady count to him. He understands that a happy wife means a happy life.
  2. TERRITORY – A good man will let a woman know what place she has in his life. He will give you a title, whether that title be friend, girlfriend, boo, woman, lady, or wife, he will introduce you as such. He will introduce you according to how he feels about a woman, no surprises. Good men in general tend to be very protective. We mark our territory. If a good man loves you, he is willing to profess it to others.
  3. PROMISES – A man’s word is his currency. A respectable man is a man of his word. He says what he means and means what he says. His word is his bond. A good man will keep his promises to his woman. He won’t break dates and be a no call and no show. He will not play with your emotions. He remembers to call you when he says he will. A man who values his woman keeps his promises. That is the way he shows that he truly cares.
  4. KNOCKING BOOTS is something that is natural to human nature. However, pressuring a woman whom he just met is not of a good man’s nature. A man who has any intentions of being a good mate to you does not pressure you in that way when he meets you. A woman is not a vehicle to be driven. Her body does not need to be test driven. A woman is a gift from God, and her time, attention and affection should be appreciated, not taken for granted. If a woman meets a man who wants to test drive her physical body, emotions and feelings, it’s best that she point him to a car dealership, bid him goodbye and don’t look back! A woman deserves a good man who will respect her.
  5. MISSION – When a good man wakes up in the morning, his mission is to make sure that his family is taken care of in every way, to the best of his ability. He wants to make sure his woman is happy and satisfied. Providing for the people he loves and cares about, whether it’s financially or with sweat equity, it’s all a part of a good man’s DNA. A good man has no limits to the things he provides for those he loves.* A good man believes in uplifting his community, whether that be in terms of mentorship, volunteering his time or allowing himself to be an image that youth can look up to. The people in his life label him as a good man.
Cheers.

Live in the Moment...

So much of what we do in life is focused on the future (future jobs, future vacations, future children, future money and fame), but how much time do we actually spend just enjoying the current moment?

I know this tip might come off as a little cliché, but it actually pays off if you implement it.

When you learn to live in the moment you learn how to better connect with the people you’re close with,
and you also learn what it means to be alive.

After all, the purpose of life is to live it!

Cheers.

Marriage Software

I laughed after reading this, think I should share
A little humour
Marriage Software
This is what a guy wrote to a Systems Analyst -
(Marriage Software Div);

Dear Systems Analyst,
I am desperate for some help! I recently upgraded my program from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 and found that the new program began unexpected Child Processing and also took up a lot of space and valuable resources.
This wasn't mentioned in the product brochure. In addition Wife 1.0 installs itself into all other programs and launches during systems initialization and then it monitors all other system activities.
Applications such as "Boys' Night out 2.5" and "Golf 5.3" no longer run, and crashes the system whenever selected. Attempting to operate selected "Soccer 6.3" always fails and "Shopping 7.1" runs instead. I cannot seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background whilst attempting to run any of my favorite applications. Be it online or offline.
I am thinking of going back to "Girlfriend 7.0", but uninstall doesn't work on this program. Can you please help?

.... The Systems Analyst replied:

Dear Customer,
This is a very common problem resulting from a basic misunderstanding of the functions of the Wife 1.0 program. Many customers upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 thinking that Wife 1.0 is merely a UTILITY AND ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM. Actually, Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM designed by its Creator to run everything on your current platform.
You are unlikely to be able to purge Wife 1.0 and still convert back to Girlfriend 7.0, as Wife 1.0 was not designed to do this and it is impossible to uninstall, delete or purge the program files from the System once it is installed.
Some people have tried to install Girlfriend 8.0 or Wife 2.0 but have ended up with even more problems. (See manual under Alimony/Child Support and Solicitors' Fees).
Having Wife 1.0 installed, I recommend you keep it Installed and deal with the difficulties as best as you can. When any faults or problems occur, whatever you think has caused them, you must run the.........
C:\ APOLOGIZE\ FORGIVE ME.EXE Program and avoid attempting to use the *Esc-Key for it will freeze the entire system.
It may be necessary to run C:\ APOLOGIZE\ FORGIVE ME.EXE a number of times, and eventually hope that the operating system will return to normal.
Wife 1.0, although a very high maintenance programme, can be very rewarding.
To get the most out of it, consider buying additional Software such as "Flowers 2.0" and "Chocolates 5.0" or "HUGS\ KISSES 600.0" or "TENDERNESS\ UNDERSTANDING 1000.0" or even Eating Out Without the Kids 7.2.1" (if Child processing has already started).
DO NOT under any circumstances install "Secretary 2.1" (Short Skirt Version) or "One Nightstand 3.2" (Any Mood Version), as this is not a supported Application for Wife 1.0 and the system will almost certainly CRASH.

BEST WISHES!
Yours,
Systems Analyst

Let's be...

Dearest,

Let's be thankful for all we have and even hope to have or better still
Be thankful for what you have
Be creative
Be innovative
Always think differently and positive
If life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, tell yourself you have a 1000 reasons to smile and shout.
Face your past without an iota of regret(s)
Handle your present with confidence
Prepare for the future without fear (very important).
Keep the faith and drop the fear (even in the face of life adversaries).
It's a beautiful thing to see someone smile,
But even more beautiful if you are the reason for the smile.
Faith is not about everything turning out OK but faith is about being OK no matter how things turn out.

Have a great day.
Cheers.

Times When Being Single Is Not So Good

Being single can be a lot of fun, especially if you make enough money to take care of your own bills and even have some fun money left over. You don’t need to check in with anyone and there’s no one to have to pick up after. There are lots of reasons being single can be a good thing. But there are also times when being single, well, sucks.
  • When you visit your grandma or mother. She wants to know when you are going to settle down, and most importantly, when you are going to give her grandbabies. It really sucks...
  • When you are sick. There’s no one to bring you pepper soup, cuddle you up and make you laugh, bring you a glass of juice, get your prescription or bring you a box of tissue. It’s awful.
  • When you see a couple having a super time. It especially hits home when you see an elderly couple walking hand in hand at the park. If you’re in your 30s already, it makes you wonder if you are ever going to find someone to grow old with.
  • When you accomplish something. Sure it’s great to call mom and pops or your siblings. But it sure would be nice to have a guy to share it with. It’s just not the same – the affection from family and friends can’t compare to that big kiss and warm hug from your man.
  • When things need fixing or moving. It’s great to have a man around when the DVD player needs to be hooked up or your car is making a gurgling noise. And when you feel like rearranging your place, a man and his friends sure would come in handy.
Meanwhile, enjoy the single life and stay away from Grandma’s house (laugh! Because it's not possible) and hope the sink will unclog itself when you pour hair spray down it! Remember, your waiting period should be used to bless people around you, let your impact be felt optimally and someday you will be amazed on the footprint you've left in various life.

Cheers.
