The Supports Woman needs from her Man

The main ingredients a woman need in her man – Being in a relationship is not as simple, as it may seem. You need to work out a few kinks here and there, because maintaining a good, happy and healthy relationship will require both partners to work together.

Women, for example, will need more support, when it comes to emotional side of relationship, this is why it’s important for a woman to find a gentleman that will be able to give her the support she needs in areas where she needs it the most. Below are some important aspects, when it comes to relationship advice for women to help all ladies in their search for Mr. Right:

1. Trust: The number one relationship killer is dishonesty. Trust is the main ingredient in any kind of healthy relationship, more so between a man and a woman. Being open and honest with each other is also among the best dating tips since forever. Remember that building trust is hard, but ruining it can take only minutes. Put this among your top priorities with your partner and you will avoid unnecessary quarrels.

2. Communication: For women, there is nothing better than a man who listens to them. A man who can listen to his lady’s needs and give her what she requires is what all women wish for their partner. Women are more sensitive emotionally, which means that they will need some extra support in that aspect. A man who will wholeheartedly listen to his partner will also ensure that their relationship will stay strong and endure all storms of life.

3. Emotional support: Relationships are a multi level process. In each of these levels comes certain moments, wherein a woman will need her partner to give her support. Having a strong shoulder of loving man to lean on is a necessity for every lady. For a woman, this is, certainly, one of the best feelings she can experience most especially in her trials of life. Supporting each other will not only help you through difficult times, but also will strengthen your relationship to produce a positive results.

4. Physical Support: Being able to offer not only emotional, but also physical support is just as important. A woman needs some rest from her busy schedule every once in a while and having her partner take over some of the jobs at home is a great sign that he appreciates everything she does, loves her and cares.

5. Intimacy: Yes, this is just as important as anything else in a healthy relationship. Being able to complement each other physically and showing it – is a great way to spice up a relationship and is a staple of love advice. Think of this as that special topping on your dessert, it shouldn’t be the main focus, but it certainly helps the overall look of the dessert, right?!

6. Romantic: Nothing sweeps a woman off her feet faster, than when her loving partner surprises her romantically. Being romantic will always have a woman swoon, time and time again. No matter how cheesy the gift may be, as long as it’s straight from the heart, then, no woman can resist being flustered. This is one of the vital dating tips for women, but especially for men.

7. Independence: One of the main ingredients of any healthy relationship is having independence. This is the final step you take in dating, before going through the next chapter in both of your lives. A man who is independent will be able to show the woman that he is ready to take care of her.

Health Risk Associated With Singleness...

A lot of factors affect our long-term health, including family medical history and our personal habits. How about your relationship status? Some research indicates that the longer you stay single, the higher your risk of dying younger that your married peers.

Here are some of the risk...

• Single people experience more of a risk of heart health problems. A study from the American College of Cardiology showed that single people were 5 percent more apt to develop heart disease. It’s hard to explain why, but it might be taken into consideration that people who are married are more likely to have spouses that watch what they eat and encourage consistent medical check ups.

• The same study showed that single people tend to be smokers more often than married people, and that alone brings on its own set of health risks.
In addition to the addiction to smoking, single people tend to be more likely to have other risk-related habits than their married peers, such as depression, excessive thinking, alcohol or drugs.

• Studies have also shown that married people have fewer accidents that single people, with single women in particular having the highest number. In fact, single and/or divorced women are nearly twice as likely to be involved in an accident. Reason being that married women have emotional attachments to their home (family) as against single women.

• On the work front, married folks have fewer annual sick days on average that their single peers. Once study showed that a married person has an average of six sick days a year, compared to 7.3 for singles and 9.8 for divorced and widowed folks.
Explanations as to why married people tend to be healthy point to these concepts:
  • Married people tend to have better health habits.
  • Married folks have more support around them.
  • Married people may be better off financially and be more apt to have health insurance.
Again, a lot depends on a person’s family history and their own eating and exercise habits, but it also seems on the plus side to have someone else around who cares about your health.

Few Traits of a Good Man...

Ever wonder what the traits of a good man are? If you are in the dating scene, I am sure you have? We all have wanted to know the type of things to look for in a good man.
Thus, a good man has a desire to protect and provide for his woman. Even if he may currently not have the financial ability to provide for a woman he still has a deep desire to. If he doesn’t want to see his mother working diligently chances are he does not want to see his woman work diligently either.
Take a peek at these 5 traits of a good man and keep them in mind during your next date...
  1. SELFLESS – A good man is not a selfish man. He puts his woman first and is always sure to address any issues or concerns that she may have. A good man desires to do things that make his woman happy. The opinions of his lady count to him. He understands that a happy wife means a happy life.
  2. TERRITORY – A good man will let a woman know what place she has in his life. He will give you a title, whether that title be friend, girlfriend, boo, woman, lady, or wife, he will introduce you as such. He will introduce you according to how he feels about a woman, no surprises. Good men in general tend to be very protective. We mark our territory. If a good man loves you, he is willing to profess it to others.
  3. PROMISES – A man’s word is his currency. A respectable man is a man of his word. He says what he means and means what he says. His word is his bond. A good man will keep his promises to his woman. He won’t break dates and be a no call and no show. He will not play with your emotions. He remembers to call you when he says he will. A man who values his woman keeps his promises. That is the way he shows that he truly cares.
  4. KNOCKING BOOTS is something that is natural to human nature. However, pressuring a woman whom he just met is not of a good man’s nature. A man who has any intentions of being a good mate to you does not pressure you in that way when he meets you. A woman is not a vehicle to be driven. Her body does not need to be test driven. A woman is a gift from God, and her time, attention and affection should be appreciated, not taken for granted. If a woman meets a man who wants to test drive her physical body, emotions and feelings, it’s best that she point him to a car dealership, bid him goodbye and don’t look back! A woman deserves a good man who will respect her.
  5. MISSION – When a good man wakes up in the morning, his mission is to make sure that his family is taken care of in every way, to the best of his ability. He wants to make sure his woman is happy and satisfied. Providing for the people he loves and cares about, whether it’s financially or with sweat equity, it’s all a part of a good man’s DNA. A good man has no limits to the things he provides for those he loves.* A good man believes in uplifting his community, whether that be in terms of mentorship, volunteering his time or allowing himself to be an image that youth can look up to. The people in his life label him as a good man.
Cheers.

Live in the Moment...

So much of what we do in life is focused on the future (future jobs, future vacations, future children, future money and fame), but how much time do we actually spend just enjoying the current moment?

I know this tip might come off as a little cliché, but it actually pays off if you implement it.

When you learn to live in the moment you learn how to better connect with the people you’re close with,
and you also learn what it means to be alive.

After all, the purpose of life is to live it!

Marriage Software

I laughed after reading this, think I should share
A little humour
Marriage Software
This is what a guy wrote to a Systems Analyst -
(Marriage Software Div);

Dear Systems Analyst,
I am desperate for some help! I recently upgraded my program from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 and found that the new program began unexpected Child Processing and also took up a lot of space and valuable resources.
This wasn't mentioned in the product brochure. In addition Wife 1.0 installs itself into all other programs and launches during systems initialization and then it monitors all other system activities.
Applications such as "Boys' Night out 2.5" and "Golf 5.3" no longer run, and crashes the system whenever selected. Attempting to operate selected "Soccer 6.3" always fails and "Shopping 7.1" runs instead. I cannot seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background whilst attempting to run any of my favorite applications. Be it online or offline.
I am thinking of going back to "Girlfriend 7.0", but uninstall doesn't work on this program. Can you please help?

.... The Systems Analyst replied:

Dear Customer,
This is a very common problem resulting from a basic misunderstanding of the functions of the Wife 1.0 program. Many customers upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 thinking that Wife 1.0 is merely a UTILITY AND ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAM. Actually, Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM designed by its Creator to run everything on your current platform.
You are unlikely to be able to purge Wife 1.0 and still convert back to Girlfriend 7.0, as Wife 1.0 was not designed to do this and it is impossible to uninstall, delete or purge the program files from the System once it is installed.
Some people have tried to install Girlfriend 8.0 or Wife 2.0 but have ended up with even more problems. (See manual under Alimony/Child Support and Solicitors' Fees).
Having Wife 1.0 installed, I recommend you keep it Installed and deal with the difficulties as best as you can. When any faults or problems occur, whatever you think has caused them, you must run the.........
C:\ APOLOGIZE\ FORGIVE ME.EXE Program and avoid attempting to use the *Esc-Key for it will freeze the entire system.
It may be necessary to run C:\ APOLOGIZE\ FORGIVE ME.EXE a number of times, and eventually hope that the operating system will return to normal.
Wife 1.0, although a very high maintenance programme, can be very rewarding.
To get the most out of it, consider buying additional Software such as "Flowers 2.0" and "Chocolates 5.0" or "HUGS\ KISSES 600.0" or "TENDERNESS\ UNDERSTANDING 1000.0" or even Eating Out Without the Kids 7.2.1" (if Child processing has already started).
DO NOT under any circumstances install "Secretary 2.1" (Short Skirt Version) or "One Nightstand 3.2" (Any Mood Version), as this is not a supported Application for Wife 1.0 and the system will almost certainly CRASH.

BEST WISHES!
Yours,
Systems Analyst

Let's be...

Dearest,

Let's be thankful for all we have and even hope to have or better still
Be thankful for what you have
Be creative
Be innovative
Always think differently and positive
If life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, tell yourself you have a 1000 reasons to smile and shout.
Face your past without an iota of regret(s)
Handle your present with confidence
Prepare for the future without fear (very important).
Keep the faith and drop the fear (even in the face of life adversaries).
It's a beautiful thing to see someone smile,
But even more beautiful if you are the reason for the smile.

Times When Being Single Is Not So Good

Being single can be a lot of fun, especially if you make enough money to take care of your own bills and even have some fun money left over. You don’t need to check in with anyone and there’s no one to have to pick up after. There are lots of reasons being single can be a good thing. But there are also times when being single, well, sucks.
  • When you visit your grandma or mother. She wants to know when you are going to settle down, and most importantly, when you are going to give her grandbabies. It really sucks...
  • When you are sick. There’s no one to bring you pepper soup, cuddle you up and make you laugh, bring you a glass of juice, get your prescription or bring you a box of tissue. It’s awful.
  • When you see a couple having a super time. It especially hits home when you see an elderly couple walking hand in hand at the park. If you’re in your 30s already, it makes you wonder if you are ever going to find someone to grow old with.
  • When you accomplish something. Sure it’s great to call mom and pops or your siblings. But it sure would be nice to have a guy to share it with. It’s just not the same – the affection from family and friends can’t compare to that big kiss and warm hug from your man.
  • When things need fixing or moving. It’s great to have a man around when the DVD player needs to be hooked up or your car is making a gurgling noise. And when you feel like rearranging your place, a man and his friends sure would come in handy.
Meanwhile, enjoy the single life and stay away from Grandma’s house (laugh! Because it's not possible) and hope the sink will unclog itself when you pour hair spray down it! Remember, your waiting period should be used to bless people around you, let your impact be felt optimally and someday you will be amazed on the footprint you've left in various life.

Cheers.

... No Matter How much you love him, Here Are Few Things Your Man Should Never Make You Do.

Being in a relationship doesn’t mean that you have to give up the right to be an individual, with a mind of your own, so find out where the line has to be drawn and read these ten things no man should ever ask a girl to do:

1. Stop seeing your family:
Your family were around way before him and they could be around long after too.
Relationships with the in-laws can often be fraught, but he doesn’t have the right to tell you to stop seeing your family, or to make you choose between them and him.

2. Switch religions or beliefs:
If he can persuade you to modify your beliefs, through rational and logical debate, and you are comfortable with that, then that’s no problem. But, it should be your decision alone, no one else’s.

3. Have physical intimacy without protection:
Unless you are really settled in a long term relationship, then physical intimacy without a ‘protection’ is an obvious no-no and a man should never ask you to do it.
Some guys do still have a hang up about using a safety hat, but, if he has that little respect for you, then it should be telling you something more about this man.

4. Forget your dreams:
Whether its finishing college, going to university, having kids or following a career, a man should never  ask to you give up your dreams for him.
You should be able to work together, so that you can both follow your dreams and share them together.

5. Have a baby before you are ready:
It’s your body and you will know when the time is right for you to have children.
Kids aren’t just accessories that go with a relationship, they are a huge, long term, commitment and both partners must be sure that they are ready for that.

6. Change who you are:
You are who you are, you should be proud of that, and he should love you for it too.
A man should not ask you to change who you are because, if you do, then it will only be pretence and you won’t be happy pretending to be someone else.

7. Stop seeing your friends:
You do need a life outside of a relationship and friends are an important part of that.
If he is trying to stop you from going out with your friends, then that’s a sign of his own insecurities or of his controlling nature and you shouldn’t be putting up with it.

8. Be more of a girl:
Yes, some guys do still think that girls should know their place! Well, don’t stand for it.
If you are not the pretty pink, candy floss, stay at home type, then don’t be.
Get out there and do the things that you want to do, even if he does think that they are not ‘girly’ enough pastimes.

9. Have an abortion:
Things happen and, if an unexpected pregnancy occurs, then the man must step up to the mark and take his responsibilities seriously.
He should never, under any circumstances, tell the woman to have an abortion. That is a very emotional decision that only the woman can make and then the man should be there to support her, whatever she decides.

10. Force you to stay when you really want to leave:
If you are really unhappy in a relationship, then you should end it. Don’t let a man force to you to stay, just because he doesn’t want it to end and, don’t let him make you stay through emotional blackmail either.

Cheers.
