What Are You Filling Your Life With...

PAUSE & POUNDER

Good morning everyone,

A philosophy professor stood before his class with some items on the table in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, about 2 inches in diameter.

He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.

So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles, of course, rolled into the open areas between the rocks.

He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up the remaining open areas of the jar.

He then asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous “Yes.”

“Now,” said the professor, “I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The rocks are the important things – your family, your partner, your health, your children – things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are the other things that matter – like your job, your house, your car. The sand is everything else, the small stuff.”

“If you put the sand into the jar first,” he continued, “there is no room for the pebbles or the rocks. The same goes for your life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take your partner out dancing. There will always be time to go to work, clean the house, give a dinner party, or fix the disposal.”

“Take care of the rocks first – the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand.”

Have a great day.

What is your moment of choice, when the road diverges?

Dearie...,

Its Mid November now...Here's a little inspiration for your if you are a little
overwhelmed in life right now...

Do you at some point in time still tend to dwell in the land of "What if I do this..." and "Why didn't I earlier thought of this..." We as humans are pretty good at condemning and beating ourselves up and feeling guilty over regrets
on our choices...

"What if I have not listen to that Someone and chose that career instead?" or "What if I have persisted and stayed in that relationship?" The list of questions continued as long as we allow them inside our brains.

Why cry over spilt milk? We cannot do much about our past, so why not make the best of where we are now?

"When one door of happiness closes, another opens: but we often look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has been opened for us." ~ Helen Keller

We are not helpless to change anything. The greatest failure is no courage to try anymore. We are always at a moment of choice and will always be confronted to make new decisions in life...Let the past fades from view and be bold to move forward in life...

It is so often that in the new and unknown, miracles happen and potential unleashed...
You discover abilities that you never know you had...

Remember: Don't let precious time slip away while lamenting on past sorrows. There is no value in feeling depress and sad. Instead, it eats away your joy and peace. Opportunities are abounding and look for open doors instead...

Enjoy.

CHAIleNGES

The word challenges has two blocks in the form of letter 'l'.  All you need to do, to remove the blocks is an 'e' for effort.

So use the 'e' to remove the double 'l'  see what is left - Changes.

So next time you are faced with Challenges just look for vision blockers and add extra efforts to remove them, then you can see the changes you desire.

Remember nothing is impossible and the letters in impossible spelt I'm possible.

The letters in Opportunity is nowhere spells Opportunity is now here.

Your thoughts,  words,  and actions really defines who you really are.

Facts of Life

Stay True to Yourself

Hello Gorgeous,

I want to share with you this story I reflected on recently.

Am sure you are familiar with the story or heard about it in form of song from the renowned musician Ebenezer Obey: An old couple had a donkey.

It was their only means of transport to and fro.
One day they were riding together on the donkey, some villagers saw them and commented: "Two people on a donkey's back? Poor animal!" The couple were affected.

On their next outdoors trip, the old man sat on the donkey while his spouse walked. The villagers saw this and said: "He's letting his wife walk? How cruel!" The old man was shocked.

On their way back home, he asked his spouse to sit on the donkey while he walked. The villagers saw it and said: "Letting the wife ride the donkey? How stupid!" The old man was at his wits' end.

At the next outing, both him and his spouse walked while taking the donkey along. This time, the villagers exclaimed: "What idiots! They don't even know how to utilise the donkey!"

Have you ever had similar experiences as the old couple?

The feeling like nothing that you've done is right.

Well, I want to let you know that people will always have something to say about what they see. Everyone has their own perspective on what to do, when to do, how to do things. But they are not YOU.

They may not know you well, they may not know your intents, neither will they really care.
What is most important is you stay true to yourself.

Do what you have to do and don't feel guilty or sad because of what others say about you and of you. You are not your past, neither will your present define your future. Everything great in your future comes from a little shift in your perspective.

Love and forgive yourself and stay true. Fight on!

Be inspired.

The 11th Month & YOU.

Today marks the first day of November 2016...How are you doing so far?

Are you fully charged and ready for what lies ahead? If Yes..I wish you all the very best in realising your goals...You will do well.
Just believe in yourself that you can do it!

Or are you gripped by fears and uncertainties in your life? If yes..I will be sharing with you 3 quotes on fear and I hope they can help you find comfort and restore your hope and confidence in life...

You gain strength, courage, and confidence by each experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, “I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.” You must do the thing you think you cannot do.  ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

You can conquer almost any fear if you will only make up your mind to do so. For remember, fear doesn’t exist anywhere except in the mind.  ~ Dale Carnegie

“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.” ~ Frank Herbert, Dune

Success Tips For You!!!

Pause & Pounder!

1. Find What You Are Good At

This links in to finding your purpose. We all have a gift, something that separates us from others. For some this gift will differ. Some people have the gift of writing, others sport, others leading.  You should find what you are good at and don’t stop there. You’ve got to do it to the very best of your ability. I think that many people underestimate what this means. You’ve got to dedicate every breath in your body to that thing. This is what makes people stand out and what will make you, if you do it, stand out.

2. Are Your Habits Today, In Line With Your Dreams For Tomorrow?

We all have big dreams, admirable dreams, dreams that excite us for the future. The dreams are possible, there’s no doubt about that. However, what we do each day can either bring them to life or keep them at bay, never to be actualized. A lot of the time, our habits are the things stopping us from achieving our dreams. What are  your habits? If your habits today are not in sync with your dreams for tomorrow then you’re not going to achieve them. It’s that simple.

3. Don't Be Afraid Of Failure

If you really want to be successful you’ve got to get rid of your fear of failure. Sometimes you’ll miss. But one thing you should never do is allow the misses to stop you from taking shots. You’ve got to keep shooting because if you keep shooting, you increase your probability of success. Keep Shooting.
